How to Use:

Enter your Course Rating, Slope Rating, your Score, your Average Differential, and the Number of Rounds you have played.

Click “Calculate” to view your Handicap Differential and Revised Handicap Index.

How It Calculates:

This calculator uses the following formula to determine your Handicap Differential:

Handicap Differential = (Score – Course Rating) * 113 / Slope Rating

Then, it calculates the Revised Handicap Index by taking your average differential, multiplying by the number of rounds, adding the newly calculated handicap differential, and dividing by the total number of rounds (including the new one).

Revised Handicap Index = (Average Differential * Number of Rounds + Handicap Differential) / (Number of Rounds + 1)

Limitations:

The calculator assumes accurate values for the ratings and differentials. Any deviation from standard course rating and slope rating might lead to incorrect results.

This tool provides a rough estimate and should not replace an official handicap calculation.
